Task-provider availability is checked in a fixed order. Fix the first message you see, then re-check the source.

What Status unavailable means

The compact source and linked-task rows use Status unavailable for both a provider rate limit and another provider error. It does not mean that the saved task link was removed.

Open Settings > Plugins and open the plugin to see its specific error. For a rate limit, wait before retrying. For an authentication or permission error, reconnect the credential or change provider access. A linked session remains openable from saved Glueprint data even while the provider status is unavailable.

Re-check and refresh

Settings automatically reads a host’s task-provider report once when you select that host. Later retries are explicit:

  1. Open Settings > Plugins.
  2. Choose the owning host.
  3. Click Re-check.
  4. Expand the affected provider and inspect its connection row.

Use Refresh in the Tasks view to refresh the first stage that needs it — the provider report, container list, or first task page. Use Retry for a failed task or comment page. If old task data is retained, the view says Showing last-known tasks. and disables changes until the source is usable.

Connection checks

ProviderCheck
GitHub IssuesOpen Settings > Git Forge on the owning host and confirm the GitHub account. Then return to Plugins and re-check.

Where credentials live

Credentials stay on the host that owns the connection. GitHub Issues uses the GitHub credential already managed by Git Forge on that host. The web portal does not store provider secrets and cannot edit them.

Remove or replace GitHub credentials in Settings > Git Forge on the owning host. On a CLI host, run glueprint forge token remove github.com to remove the GitHub credential.
