Ports in the portal and mobile app

Open private port previews from a browser or phone.

On this page

The portal and mobile app show the same port inventory as the host. Each surface opens remote ports in a form suited to that device.

Portal previews

Opening a remote port in the portal opens a new browser tab at a private preview URL on glueprint.io. Glueprint’s proxy serves the preview.

The tab is authorized by a short-lived first-party cookie named gp_pf, scoped to that preview. Private previews require Pro or higher.

An unknown or expired preview shows a 404 or 401 response. Return to the workspace Ports popover and open the port again.

Mobile forwarding

Open the workspace Ports tab to see the host’s port inventory. Opening a port starts a forward to a local listener on your phone, then renders the service in an in-app browser view.

If you background the app for more than ~30 seconds, Glueprint releases the forward. It reopens when you return.
