Sign in on mobile

Email + password, SSO, biometric unlock, and switching accounts.

The mobile app uses the same sign-in as the web portal. Email and password, or single sign-on if your organization is on a plan that includes it.

Email and password

  1. Tap Sign in on the launch screen.
  2. Choose Email & password.
  3. Enter the email and password from your Glueprint account.
  4. Tap Sign in.

If you’ve forgotten your password, tap Forgot password and follow the email link. You’ll need a recovery code if you have one set; see Recovery codes.

Single sign-on

If your organization uses SSO, your administrator gives you a sign-in URL or organization code.

  1. Tap Sign in.
  2. Tap Single sign-on.
  3. Enter your organization’s domain or paste the SSO URL.
  4. The app opens your identity provider in a secure web view.
  5. Complete the sign-in there.
  6. The app receives the authentication and you’re in.

SSO supports SAML and OIDC. Your administrator manages the connection from the portal under Settings > SSO.

Biometric unlock

After your first sign-in, the app asks whether to enable biometric unlock. Once on:

  • Re-opening the app prompts for Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometric.
  • Approving a pending request can also require biometric unlock (turn that on under Settings > Security > Require biometric for approvals).

If your device’s biometric fails, you can fall back to your account password.

To turn biometric unlock off: Settings > Security > Biometric unlock.

Switching accounts

The current release supports one account at a time.

  1. Settings > Account.
  2. Tap Sign out.
  3. Sign in with the other account.

Your local data on the device is cleared when you sign out. Re-signing in pulls down the new account’s state.

Staying signed in

The app remembers you across launches. Your account credentials live in the operating system’s secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore); we never write them to disk in any other form.

If you’ve enabled biometric unlock, the app re-prompts for biometric on each open. Without biometric unlock, the app opens immediately to your dashboard.
